  • What if I am not satisfied with my order?

  • What are your lead and shipping times?

Lead times vary between 3 and 7 business days. Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers to your business, while others are fulfilled by our warehouse. If you do not receive your order within 10 business days, we will give you an option to refund your purchase and automatically credit your account with a 10% off coupon to go towards your next purchase.   • I am located outside the United States. Will you ship my orders?

We predominantly work with customers located in the United States, Canada, and Mexico but are happy to ship to those outside North America. Please contact us directly for international shipping inquiries.

  • Why don’t you carry thousands of products from hundreds of brands?

At Hathway CBD, it is our mission to provide our loyal retail partners with the highest quality selection for your customers. With so many small CBD brands cropping up every day, it can be challenging for retailers to determine which brands will be most successful. With years in the CBD industry, we know what makes the cut and what does not.

Our suppliers are chosen based on strict purity standards, product offering, and brand recognition that we know the end consumers will love. We have made sure to work with nationally recognized companies like Green Roads and MedTerra along with reputable local companies like Canna Superior who have carved out a unique space in the CBD industry. With over 250 unique SKUs to choose from, we guarantee you will find a product that best fits your business.

  • What is your cash back program and how do I get enrolled?

NOTE: As of 8/20 cash back program temporarily suspended for maintenance. Those that currently maintain wallet balances may ask to have orders manually discounted until further notice. We appreciate your patience

If you have a registered account with us (wholesale or retail), you will automatically receive 5% back on all purchases over $100 once your order has been processed and completed. On subsequent purchases, your wallet amount will be deducted from the total amount due. Your wallet can also be topped up with your credit card at any time if you so choose.   • Do I have to be a registered business to complete purchases?

Yes. At Hathway CBD, we specialize in both retail and wholesale sales. However, businesses looking to make purchases for resale can apply for a special wholesale account with reduced pricing. Wholesale account holders must be registered businesses with valid Federal Employer Identification Numbers. In order to qualify for tax exemption, wholesale buyers must provide a California Resale Certificate which can be submitted HERE.

  • Is there a MOQ?

No! There is no minimum order quantity to place orders with us. However, many products we offer come pre-packaged in retail-friendly display cases that must be ordered as is. Quantities can range from 4-unit display cases up to 30-unit display cases. Please see our catalog for specific case quantities per product. There is also a $99 minimum order to qualify for free shipping for those located outside our local San Luis Obispo, CA area.

  • Do you offer any volume discounts?

Yes, we offer tiered discounts depending on subtotal levels at checkout for wholesale customers only. We offer an additional 3% off standard wholesale pricing when the order exceeds $1000 and 5% when the order exceeds $5000. Tiered pricing will automatically adjust at checkout.

  • Can I pay with an invoice?

No problem! We are happy to send invoices. Feel free to email or call us with your order or select “Pay Later: Send me an invoice” at checkout. You will receive your invoice by email within 24 hours where you will then be able to pay with a credit or debit card (For a complete list of credit cards accepted, click HERE). We may ask that invoices be paid upon receipt for first time purchasers. Credit terms are established on a case-by-case basis and are subject to change.

  • What payment options are available?

We offer three easy payment options to best suit your needs: invoicing, credit card, or cash/check on delivery. For all orders, you will be able to pay with a credit card at checkout or ask to receive an invoice to pay with a credit card later. If you are local in the San Luis Obispo, CA region, you also qualify for free local delivery with the option to pay with cash or check upon delivery.   • Can I place an order over email or phone?

Of course! We understand that old-school ordering methods can be much more efficient for busy business owners, managers, and purchasers. If you prefer sending orders to us over the phone or email, one of our sales representatives will be happy to help. For those that prefer e-commerce platforms, we have tailored our processes such that orders can be placed in less than 60 second.

  • Why am I being charged sales tax? / How do I file for tax exemption?

California is one of only ten states that does not accept out of state Resale Certificates. That means that any wholesale buyer, regardless or home state, looking to resell products from Hathway CBD (a California-based company) must hold a valid California Seller’s Permit and submit a Resale Certificate to avoid paying sales tax on their order. Seller’s permits can be obtained for free in just a few minutes by registering online HERE. After registering for you free wholesale account, submit your completed Resale Certificate with your new Seller’s Permit number and we will update your account settings such that taxes will not be charged at checkout.

  • Can I legally resell CBD?

The short answer is maybe. According to the Farm Bill of 2018, CBD is federally legal so long as the CBD is hemp-derived, contains less than 0.3% TCH (the compound associated with a “high”), and meets strict packaging and marketing standards. Although CBD is legal on a federal level, that does not necessarily mean it is legal in your state. Currently Idaho, South Dakota, and Nebraska still consider CBD illegal according to World Population Review. For the remaining states, CBD is entirely legal or legal with certain restrictions. It is important you conduct your own research to determine whether you are allowed to resell and CBD products in your state.

  • Do you offer POP displays or other marketing material for my store?

  • I am interested in “White Label” or “Private Label” CBD products. Can you help me with that?

  • Do you allow reselling on online platforms like Amazon?

Currently, we do not restrict any partners who wish to resell products directly on Amazon or other 3rd party marketplaces. To protect ourselves and current or future suppliers, we reserve the right to suspend selling of any or all products on such marketplaces if deemed unfit.
